各位老師大家好:

一、為整合本校學術研究資源及推動研究特色,以提升研究發展之能量,即日起受理115學年研究中心設置案,請有意申請之中心主持人填寫「研究中心設置規劃書」(如附件)。申請案受理期限至115.04.24(五)-17:00。

二、申請文件請於期限內回傳至ss512@gms.tcu.edu.tw:
1.親筆簽名後之規劃書PDF檔
2.規劃書Word電子檔

三、如有研究空間申請需求,請檢附以下資料:
1. 慈濟大學建築物空間使用申請表(下載路徑:總務處→保管組→表單下載)
2. 研究空間申請書(表D) (因為已填寫「研究中心設置規劃書」第9頁之中心主持人與中心成員近四年研究表現,故表D之附件二不需再填寫)

※※以上申請表請以紙本辦理,經一級主管或系所.院主管簽核後,繳交至研發處。

四、依據本校新修訂規定,研究中心將依其性質與規模區分為「校級研究中心」與「院級研究中心」。研究中心之設置與等級,須提送研究發展委員會審議,並以其決議為準。

五、依《研究中心設置暨管考辦法》第六條規定,研究中心所需經費及人力以自行籌措為原則;必要時得視實際運作情形編列預算,經研究發展會議審議通過後,由研究發展處支應。相關經費報支事宜,悉依本校相關規定辦理。

六、為避免研究資源重複投入並確保研究方向之獨特性,申請前請務必參閱本校既有之研究中心(https://research.tcu.edu.tw/?page_id=13260),以避免領域重疊,並有利於展現各中心的研究互補性與發展重點(中心名單如附件)。

ANNOUNCEMENT

To all faculty members:

I. In order to integrate the university is academic research resources and promote distinctive research initiatives, thereby enhancing the overall research development capacity, the Research and Development Office is now accepting applications for the establishment of research centers for the academic year 115. Prospective center directors are kindly requested to complete the “Research Center Establishment Proposal” (see attachment). The deadline for submission is Monday, April 24, 115, by 5:00 p.m.

II. Please return the following application documents to ss512@gms.tcu.edu.tw before the deadline:
1. A PDF file of the signed proposal (with handwritten signature)
2. A Word electronic file of the proposal

III. For those with requests regarding research space allocation, please submit the following documents:
1. Tzu Chi University Building Space Usage Application Form (Download path: General Affairs Office → Custody Section → Form Download)
2. Research Space Application Form (Form D) (Note: Since the center director and members i research performance over the past four years has already been included in the “Research Center Establishment Proposal” (Page 9), Attachment II of Form D is not required.)

※※ All application forms must be submitted in paper format, signed by the head of the department or institute, and submitted to the Research and Development Office.

IV. According to the university is newly revised regulations, research centers will be classified as either “University-level Research Centers” or “College-level Research Centers” based on their nature and scale. The establishment and classification of research centers must be reviewed and approved by the Research Development Committee, and decisions will be made in accordance with the committee is resolution.

V. In accordance with Article 6 of the “Regulations for the Establishment and Management of Research Centers,” the required funds and personnel for research centers are to be arranged independently. In exceptional cases, budgets may be allocated based on actual operational needs, subject to approval by the Research Development Committee. The Research and Development Office will then provide the necessary support. All financial matters shall be processed in accordance with the university is relevant regulations.

VI. To avoid duplication of research resources and ensure the uniqueness of research directions, applicants are kindly requested to review the existing research centers at the university (https://research.tcu.edu.tw/?page_id=13260) prior to submitting their applications. This will help avoid overlapping fields and highlight the complementary strengths and development priorities of each center (see attached list of centers).
