1.兩瓣大蒜切碎
2.0.5 寸薑切碎
3.1 葱
4.0.5 油
5.0.5 紅葱
6.1 tbsp 乾辣椒
7.0.5 tsp 薑黃粉
8.0.25 tbsp 咖喱/小茴香粉
9.1 番茄 切塊
10.1 小番薯去皮切塊
11.1 小紅蘿蔔切塊
12. 0.5 杯紅扁豆
13.1.5 杯 水 (可以個人口味調整)
14.1 tsp 鹽(可以個人口味調整)

In Malaysia, lentil curry (dal curry) is not only enjoyed by the Malaysian-Indian community; every Malaysian loves it!
We love eating it at the Mamak (Indian-Muslims restaurant) with roti canai, the Malay word for prata or flat bread. At home, we eat it with rice too.
In Malaysia and Singapore, this curry is very popular at Mamak eateries as it is eaten along with an Indian-influenced flatbread called ‘roti canai’ or ‘roti pratha’ and is usually eaten during breakfast.
Dhal curry is a very mild and nutritious curry made up mainly of lentils, tomatoes, and chilies. Sometimes potatoes and gourds are added. Very few spices are used and the heat level can be adjusted by using more or less dried chilies. This curry is very kid friendly as it can be made relatively mild.

1.2 garlic cloves minced
2.0.5 inched ginger minced
3.1 shallot
4.0.5 tbsp oil
5.0.5 red onion
6.1 tbsp dried chili
7.0.5 tsp turmeric powder
8.0.25 tbsp curry/cumin powder
9.1 tomatoes chopped
10.1 small potato peeled dice
11. 1 small carrot dice
12.0.5 cup Red lentils
13.1.5 cups water more to taste
14.1 tsp salt more to taste
