主旨：
本基金會為表揚台灣女性科學家在科學領域的努力和貢獻，與台灣萊雅公司主辦2027第20屆台灣傑出女學家獎活動。檢附該獎遴選辦法，請踴躍推薦優秀人選，請查照。
說明：
一、為發揚吳健雄博士在二十世紀自然科學領域的偉大貢獻，並鼓勵台灣年輕女性學子，以從事科學研究為志業，本獎自2008年起已連續舉辦19屆，廣受各界重視與媒體報導。
二、本獎於公元單數年遴選物質科學、數學與資訊科學領域的傑出女性科學家；雙數年遴選生命科學領域的傑出女性科學家，本屆（2027)遴選物質科學、數學與資訊科學領域的「台灣傑出女科學家」。
三、為獎勵具有潛力的青年女性科學研究人員，特別附設「台灣女科學家新秀獎」，其遴選要點另訂於本辦法的附錄1。
四、為紀念國立陽明大學孟粹珠教授畢生對科學研究和教育的奉獻，特別附設「孟粹珠獎學金」，用於獎勵優秀的女性博士班研究生，其遴選要點另訂於本辦法的附錄2。
五、本獎推薦戴止日期為115年11月30日午夜12時，以email電子收件。

To honor the dedication and contributions of female scientists in Taiwan, the Women in Science Foundation, in collaboration with L'Oréal Taiwan, is hosting the 20th Taiwan Outstanding Female Scientist Award in 2027. The selection guidelines are attached herewith. We encourage the nomination of outstanding candidates. Please be informed accordingly.
Description:
I. To promote the profound contributions of Dr. Chien-Shiung Wu to the natural sciences in the 20th century and to encourage young female students to pursue careers in scientific research, this award has been held for 19 consecutive years since 2008, receiving significant attention from the public and media coverage.
II. This award selects outstanding female scientists in the fields of Physical Sciences, Mathematics, and Information Sciences in odd-numbered years, and in the field of Life Sciences in even-numbered years. For the current year (2027), the selection will focus on "Taiwan Outstanding Female Scientists" in the fields of Physical Sciences, Mathematics, and Information Sciences.
III. To recognize promising young female researchers, the "Taiwan Female Scientist Rising Star Award" is specially established. The selection criteria are detailed in Appendix 1 of these guidelines.
IV. In memory of Professor Tsui-Chu Meng of National Yang-Ming University and her lifelong dedication to scientific research and education, the "Tsui-Chu Meng Scholarship" is specially established to reward outstanding female doctoral students. The selection criteria are detailed in Appendix 2 of these guidelines.
V. The deadline for nominations is November 30, 2026, at 12:00 midnight. Submissions must be sent via email.
