Butler 教授將帶領我們剖析：
1.科技萬靈丹的迷思： 探討如碳捕捉、地球工程等技術，是否真能解決根本問題，還是僅為延緩轉型的藉口？
2.資訊戰與氣候政治： 分析利益團體如何透過傳播假訊息，延宕全球環境政策的推動。
3.批判性思考的建立： 在數位資訊洪流中，如何辨別科學實證與商業宣傳。

Are We Placing Too Much Hope in Technological Rescue for Environmental Disasters?
In the face of escalating environmental crises, are we placing excessive faith in “technological rescue” solutions? Among these promises, how much is grounded in scientific reality, and how much is shaped by deliberate disinformation campaigns?
Professor Butler will guide us in examining the following issues:
The Myth of the Technological Silver Bullet
Can technologies such as carbon capture and geoengineering truly address the root causes of environmental problems, or do they merely serve as excuses to delay necessary societal transformation?
Information Warfare and Climate Politics
How do vested interests use disinformation campaigns to obstruct or delay the implementation of global environmental policies?
Developing Critical Thinking Skills
In an era flooded with digital information, how can we distinguish between scientific evidence and commercial or political propaganda?
