To document the realities of Taiwan's transition into a super-aged society, the United Daily News Health Division is hosting the "2026 Taiwan New 'Vision' Photography Submission Campaign." This initiative aims to accumulate visual records of contemporary healthcare in Taiwan through collective participation.
II. The submission period for this campaign runs from 12:00 PM on July 1, 2026, to 11:59 PM on August 30, 2026. Participation is entirely free of charge. We encourage students to use their smartphones or cameras to capture stories related to healthcare, elderly life, and community care around them, with a maximum of 10 submissions per participant.
III. After review by the organizing committee, entries will be posted on the campaign's official website for online voting. The top entries in each category, including first, second, and third place, as well as selected commendations, will be awarded to 16 popular works, with generous prizes provided.
IV. In addition to the online popularity awards, selected works may also be invited for inclusion in the United Daily News "Taiwan New Medical Situation Image Library." These will be used for subsequent media reports, health education, and academic research for public welfare purposes.
V. We kindly request your institution's assistance in disseminating and announcing this campaign. We especially encourage students and faculty from medical, nursing, long-term care, social work, public health, medical management, physical/occupational therapy, and gerontology-related departments to participate enthusiastically, using their lenses to witness important healthcare issues in Taiwan.
