為提升教學與研究效能，學校已向台灣經銷商採購 Google AI Pro for Education 專屬授權。由於首波配發的授權數量有限，已派發授權予［一級單位主管與二級單位公用帳號］。
若您有迫切的教學與研究需求，且未獲分配到學校購置派發之授權，而計畫自行出資購買時，請務必詳閱以下依據 Google 官方授權政策所制定的注意事項，並自行與經銷商聯繫採購，以確保您的個人權益與學校的資訊安全。

一、 自行購買 Google AI Pro for Education 的重要注意事項
1. 個人自費採購流程（電算中心僅提供授權經銷商聯繫窗口）
電算中心不經手、不代收自費增購之款項。欲自費採購之教職同仁，請自行聯繫校方簽屬合約之台灣經銷商進行報價與付款。重要配合事項：向經銷商下單時，必須提供您正確的學校教育帳號（@gms.tcu.edu.tw）。待與經銷商完成交易後，會將授權開通至該帳號中，您即可在學校帳號內啟用Google AI Pro for Education等進階功能。［經銷商聯絡資訊請參閱公告最下方］
重要說明：
★依照Google AI Pro for Education授權政策，本校網域＠gms.tcu.edu.tw權杖已依採購合約指派專屬經銷商，授權期間使用＠gms.tcu.edu.tw購買之Google AI Pro for Education授權皆屬與增購，需向專屬經銷商下單，授權截止日為(2027年5月18日)，待本次授權合約到期後，才能重新轉移權杖至其他經銷商，避免已購買授權失效。
★Google AI Pro for Education教育版授權不額外增加帳號雲端空間，請自行評估，若有增加雲端空間之需求，請勿購買Google AI Pro for Education教育版授權。
2. 授權綁定與不可轉讓性
自費購買的Google AI Pro for Education教育授權一經綁定於學校教育帳號，其額度與使用權即與該帳號連動，無法轉換、轉讓或將額度跨帳號共享。若未來離職、或帳號因故停用，該自費授權將隨網域帳號異動而終止，無法退費或轉移至私人 @gmail.com 帳號。
3. 用量限制與重新整理
即使升級至Google AI Pro for Education教育授權，部分高度消耗算力的進階功能（如：Deep Research 進階研究報告、進階影音生成、NotebookLM 擴充額度等）仍設有每日/每月的使用上限。當達到上限時，系統將自動調整為基礎速度，額度不可跨月累積。

Dear Faculty and Staff Members,
To enhance teaching and research capabilities, the university has procured a dedicated license for Google AI Pro for Education from an authorized distributor in Taiwan. Due to the limited number of licenses available in the initial allocation, they have been assigned to [department heads and shared accounts at the second-tier units].
If you have urgent teaching or research needs and have not been allocated a license from the university is purchase, and you plan to purchase one at your own expense, please carefully review the following important considerations based on Google is official licensing policy. You are required to contact the authorized distributor directly to ensure your personal rights and the university is information security.

I. Important Considerations for Self-Purchase of Google AI Pro for Education
1. **Personal Expense Purchase Process (The IT Center only provides contact information for the authorized distributor)**
The IT Center does not handle or collect payments for any additional licenses purchased at your own expense. Faculty and staff wishing to purchase licenses personally should contact the authorized distributor with whom the university has signed a contract for quotation and payment. Important cooperation requirements: When placing an order with the distributor, you must provide your correct university education account (@gms.tcu.edu.tw). After completing the transaction with the distributor, the license will be activated on this account, allowing you to use advanced features such as Google AI Pro for Education within your university account. Important Notes:
★ According to the Google AI Pro for Education licensing policy, the domain @gms.tcu.edu.tw has been assigned to a specific authorized distributor under the procurement contract. Any additional licenses purchased using @gms.tcu.edu.tw during the licensing period must be ordered through this designated distributor. The license expiration date is (May 18, 2027). After the current contract expires, the domain can be reassigned to another distributor, but this will not affect the validity of previously purchased licenses.
★ The educational version of Google AI Pro for Education does not provide additional cloud storage space. Please assess your needs accordingly. If you require increased cloud storage, do not purchase the educational version of Google AI Pro for Education.
2.License Binding and Non-Transferability
Once a self-purchased Google AI Pro for Education license is bound to your university education account, the license entitlement and usage rights are linked to that account and cannot be transferred, converted, or shared across accounts. If you leave the university or your account is deactivated for any reason, the self-purchased license will terminate with the account change and cannot be refunded or transferred to a personal @gmail.com account.
3.Usage Limits and Renewal
Even after upgrading to the Google AI Pro for Education license, certain advanced features that consume significant computational resources (such as Deep Research advanced reports, advanced video and audio generation, and NotebookLM additional entitlements) still have daily or monthly usage limits. When these limits are reached, the system will automatically revert to basic speed. Usage entitlements cannot be carried over to subsequent months.
