一、本院長期推動智慧醫療及AI創新應用，積極整合LLM、語音辨識、醫療資訊系統等技術，以改善臨床照護品質及行政效率。為引進大專院校創新思維與技術能量，特舉辦本次打工換宿專案，廣邀全國學生提案並實際參與開發。
二、打工換宿主要內容說明：每週至少工作四天，其餘時間可自由安排旅遊；依最低工時時薪給付，詳細說明如下。
三、本次專案開放提案方向如下（學生可自由發揮，不限以下主題）：

四、行政場景：財務會議、預算審查、行政會議、專案管理會議等之語音轉錄與自動摘要。
五、醫療場景：癌症治療家庭會議、安寧照護家庭會議、病情解釋、急診問診、門診問診、營養衛教諮詢、糖尿病衛教諮詢等之語音結構化記錄。
(一)各類醫療／護理相關 AI 應用：包括護理 AI 交班、臨床決策支援、病人風險預測、醫療影像辨識輔助等。
(二)非 AI 相關醫療或行政創新提案：凡對住院體驗、醫護人員負擔減輕、行政流程改善等有具體想法者，均歡迎提案。
六、 報名資格與參與機制：
(一)開放全國大專院校在學大學生、碩博生（不限科系）報名。
(二)報名時須依本院提供之技術規格，提交初步專案構想說明（含場景描述、功能規劃）或系統原始碼。
(三)重要時程：
七、報名截止日：即日起至115 年 5 月 31 日。
八、錄取公布日：115 年 6 月 8 日。
九、參與條件與福利：
(一)參與時間：至少6週，每週到院至少4天。
(二)住宿補助：本院提供兩個月住宿安排，若專案提前完成，可選擇繼續住宿至期滿或提前返家。
(三)工讀津貼：依實際投入時數計給工讀費（至少新台幣 196元 ／ 小時），若所提專案最終確認採用，依效用給予不等專案獎勵金。
(四)探索體驗：院方將提供四場花蓮在地免費探索體驗活動，如：賞鯨、花東步道健行、在地美食導覽…等，讓學生深度認識花蓮。
(五)遵守本院資訊安全、個人資料保護及保密相關規範；涉及醫療資料之研究需完成必要倫理審查程序。
十、本院提供之資源支援包括：臨床場域使用授權、技術指導與專案管理協助、醫護人員協同研究環境，及 AI 與醫療資訊相關開發平台。

I. Our hospital has long been committed to promoting smart healthcare and innovative AI applications, actively integrating technologies such as large language models (LLMs), speech recognition, and medical information systems to improve the quality of clinical care and administrative efficiency. To incorporate the innovative thinking and technical expertise of universities and colleges, we are launching this work-exchange program, inviting students nationwide to submit proposals and actively participate in the development process.
II. Project Overview: Participants are required to work at least four days per week, with the remaining time available for travel. Compensation will be based on an hourly rate for the minimum required working hours, as detailed below.
III. Proposed Project Areas: (Students are encouraged to be creative and are not limited to the following topics):

IV. Administrative Scenarios: Speech transcription and automatic summarization for financial meetings, budget reviews, administrative meetings, project management meetings, etc.
V. Medical Scenarios: Structured audio recording for cancer treatment family meetings, palliative care family meetings, medical explanations, emergency room consultations, outpatient consultations, nutritional health education consultations, diabetes health education consultations, etc.
(1) Various medical/nursing-related AI applications: including AI-assisted nursing handoffs, clinical decision support, patient risk prediction, and medical image recognition assistance.
(2) Non-AI-related medical or administrative innovation proposals: Proposals are welcome from anyone with concrete ideas regarding improving the inpatient experience, reducing the workload of medical staff, or streamlining administrative processes.
VI. Eligibility and Participation Mechanism:
(1) Open to all currently enrolled undergraduate, master is, and doctoral students at universities and colleges nationwide (all disciplines welcome).
(2) At the time of registration, participants must submit a preliminary project proposal (including scenario descriptions and functional planning) or system source code in accordance with the technical specifications provided by this hospital.

IX. Participation Requirements and Benefits:
(1) Duration of Participation: At least 6 weeks, with a minimum of 4 days per week on-site at the hospital.
(2) Housing Allowance: The Institute will provide housing arrangements for two months. If the project is completed early, participants may choose to remain until the end of the period or return home early.
(3) Work-Study Stipend: A stipend will be paid based on actual hours worked (at least NT$196 per hour). If the proposed project is ultimately adopted, a project bonus will be awarded based on its effectiveness.
(4) Exploration Experiences: The hospital will provide four free local exploration activities in Hualien, such as whale watching, hiking on the Hualien-Taitung trails, and local culinary tours, to allow students to gain a deeper understanding of Hualien.
(5) Compliance with the hospital is regulations regarding information security, personal data protection, and confidentiality; research involving medical data must complete the necessary ethical review procedures.
10. Resource support provided by the Institute includes: authorization for use of clinical settings, technical guidance and project management assistance, a collaborative research environment with medical staff, and development platforms related to AI and medical informatics.
