一、指定禁止飼養動物物種包含：蝮蛇科、眼鏡蛇科、浣熊、河口鱷等動物(以下簡稱禁養動物)，惟設有實驗動物照護及使用委員會或小組(簡稱照護小組)之動物科學應用機構，為科學應用目的而飼養或管領，且其飼養或管領取得照護小組審議核可之證明文，
得經直轄市、縣(市)主管機關核准後飼養，其動物來源以完成登記備查者為限，公告備查時限至116年4月30日止。
二、貴機構動物科學應用倘有飼養前述禁養動物，應自即日起至116年4月30日前，至本部寵物登記管理資訊網-寵物登記與 查詢-禁養動物登記系統(連結網址：https://www.pet.gov.tw/Web/NotAllowPet.aspx)辦理登記，俾後續直轄市、縣(市)主管機關辦理相關備查作業。

**I. Supplementary Notice (as attached)**
The attached notice has been updated to include Appendix 3, which specifies prohibited animal species for keeping, including but not limited to: Viperidae (vipers), Elapidae (cobras), raccoons, and estuarine crocodiles (hereinafter referred to as "prohibited animals"). However, animal science application institutions that have established an Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "Care Committee") may be authorized to keep or manage these prohibited animals for scientific purposes, provided that they obtain approval from the Care Committee and present the corresponding certificate. Such institutions may apply for authorization from the competent municipal or county (city) authorities to keep these animals, with the condition that the animals must have completed registration and record-keeping procedures. The deadline for this announcement and subsequent record-keeping is April 30, 2027.
**II. Registration Requirements for Institutions Keeping Prohibited Animals**
If your institution is currently keeping any of the aforementioned prohibited animals, you are required to register these animals on the Ministry is Pet Registration and Management Information System—Pet Registration and Inquiry—Prohibited Animal Registration System (URL: https://www.pet.gov.tw/Web/NotAllowPet.aspx) from the date of this notice until April 30, 2027. This registration is necessary to facilitate subsequent record-keeping procedures by the competent municipal or county (city) authorities.
