He graduated from the College of Indigenous Studies at National Dong Hwa University and is widely known locally as a young ritual practitioner (Sikawasay / Sisakawihay).
The psychological and physical impacts of disasters often settle gradually into everyday life.
In this lecture, the young ritual practitioner will share how he engages with traditional rituals and post-disaster healing practices to accompany community members through processes of emotional and physical recovery. He will also reflect on his role as a young person in the community, discussing his experiences and practices in cultural transmission and post-disaster rebuilding. Through his sharing, the talk offers insight into how youth draw upon cultural knowledge and practice to support healing for themselves and their communities. |
