一、本中心為鼓勵語言學、應用語言學、語言教學、語言測驗相關研究,提供語言教學實踐與研究計畫補助。
二、「一般研究計畫」適用國內各級學校之現職本國籍專任或約聘教師(不含兼任教師),依據作業要點所列之研究主題(如下供參),由個人提出申請。所有本中心自行研發測驗之語言(含英、日、法、德、西),例如但不限以下主題:
(一)語言教學實踐研究:以本中心測驗作為前後測,評量新教學法或教材的成效
(二)回沖效應研究:以本中心測驗探討學生成績與學習策略、教師教學內容或課程設計之間的關聯
(三)科技應用研究:以本中心測驗量化並評估在教學過程中運用科技(如AI寫作輔助工具)對學生學習效能的影響
(四)語料庫應用研究:透過語料庫分析(如高頻學術詞彙、常見寫作錯誤),發展教材與教學策略,並觀察學生在本中心測驗中的表現變化

The Center for Language Teaching and Testing (CLTT) is pleased to announce the availability of research grants aimed at supporting studies in linguistics, applied linguistics, language teaching, and language assessment. These grants are designed to encourage academic research and practical applications in the field of language education.
**Eligibility and Application Process**
The "General Research Grant" is open to full-time or fixed-term faculty members of all levels of domestic institutions of higher education (excluding part-time instructors). Applicants must submit proposals based on the research themes outlined in the guidelines. The following are examples of eligible research topics, focusing on languages assessed by the CLTT (including but not limited to English, Japanese, French, German, and Spanish):
1. **Research on Language Teaching Practice:** Using CLTT assessments as pre- and post-tests to evaluate the effectiveness of new teaching methods or instructional materials.
2. **Research on Backwash Effects:** Investigating the relationship between student performance, learning strategies, instructional content, and curriculum design through CLTT assessments.
3. **Research on Technology Application:** Quantitatively assessing the impact of technology (e.g., AI writing assistance tools) on student learning outcomes during the teaching process.
4. **Research on Corpus Application:** Developing instructional materials and strategies through corpus analysis (e.g., high-frequency academic vocabulary, common writing errors), and observing changes in student performance on CLTT assessments.
