各位師長、同仁和同學您好：
Species on the Move（SOTM）國際會議自2016年創辦以來，已成為全球極具影響力之「氣候變遷×生物多樣性×社會永續」對話平台。本會議三年舉辦1次，歷屆主辦國為澳洲、南非與美國。2026年邁入第十周年，深具「承先啟後」意義，並首度移師亞洲，為臺灣歷來國際代表性最高之生物多樣性跨領域盛會，將顯著提升臺灣於相關研究網絡之能見度與影響力。
本次會議將於115年4月19日（星期日）至4月24日（星期五）於日月潭雲品溫泉酒店舉行，主題為「氣候驅動的物種遷移與生態系重組—跨海洋、淡水與陸域的空間與時間動態、生物交互作用與演化適應機制，以及人類社會的調適與治理」，強調跨領域與跨世代的交流與知識融通。歡迎各大專院校師生、研究機構研究人員及相關領域從業人員參加。

ANNOUNCEMENT
To All Faculty, Staff, and Students:
The Species on the Move (SOTM) International Conference, established in 2016, has become a globally influential platform for dialogue on the intersection of climate change, biodiversity, and social sustainability. Held every three years, the conference has previously been hosted in Australia, South Africa, and the United States. The 2026 edition marks the conference is tenth anniversary and carries significant historical importance as it will be the first time the event is held in Asia. This conference represents the most internationally prominent interdisciplinary gathering on biodiversity in Taiwan is history and is expected to substantially enhance Taiwan is visibility and influence within the global research network.
The conference will take place from April 19 (Sunday) to April 24 (Friday), 2026, at the Yunpin Hot Spring Hotel in Sun Moon Lake. The theme is “Climate-Driven Species Movement and Ecosystem Reorganization—Spatial and Temporal Dynamics, Biological Interactions, and Evolutionary Adaptation Mechanisms Across Marine, Freshwater, and Terrestrial Systems, as well as Human Adaptation and Governance.” The event emphasizes interdisciplinary and intergenerational exchange and the integration of knowledge. We warmly invite faculty and students from universities and colleges, researchers from academic institutions, and professionals in related fields to participate.
