親愛的師生同仁:
日安，
緬甸3月28日下午發生震矩規模7.7M強震(深度10公里)後，慈濟基金會即接獲來自緬甸及泰國慈濟志工窗口通報花蓮本會，慈濟花蓮本會震後即連繫當地慈濟人，除了關心安全，也進行災情關懷與了解。臺灣慈濟已啟動國際賑災物資整備，調集緊急災害應變物資計有賑災毛毯200條、穀力棒63箱(19,196條)、香積飯50箱 (4,200包) 等，若內政部消防署國際救援專機啟動，將一同送往當地，供救災人員使用。隨時準備提供物資，展現臺灣救災的軟實力。
人文處擬於4月1日(二)，虔誠邀請各位師長、同仁一起祈禱，並且募大家的一份愛心。現場也會邀請緬甸與泰國職員與學生分享家鄉的現況，

After a strong earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7M(depth of 10 kilometers) struck Myanmar on the afternoon of March 28, Tzu Chi Foundation Hualien headquaters immediately get in touch with Tzu Chi volunteer in Myanmar and Thailand. Tzu Chi Taiwan has initiated the preparation of international disaster relief supplies, and has mobilized emergency disaster response supplies including 200 blankets, 63 boxes of Jing Si Energy Bars(19,196 pieces),50 boxes of Jing Si Instant Rice(4,200 packs), etc. The supplies will be sent to the local area if the international rescue special plane of the Fire Department from Ministry of Interior is launched.
We sincerely invite everyone to join us for a prayer session on 1st of April(Tuesday), staffs and students from Myanmar and Thailand will be invited to share the current situation in their hometowns. Fund raising event will be held at the same time, you are welcome to bring your bamboo banks while joining the prayer.
