主講者：史芬妮教授（Stefania Travagnin)
講者簡介：史芬妮 （Stefania Travagnin) 老師任教於倫敦大學亞非學院（SOAS）擔任中國佛教教授，亦兼佛學研究中心主任。她的研究和著作主要是近現代漢傳佛教，尤其比丘尼歷史、人間佛教、印順導師思想、僧教育、宗教與媒體、研究觀念及方法論等。新的研究計畫探討慈濟在非佛教區域如中東、非洲、中南美的發展現況。

Topic: An Inclusive Bodhisattva Path: Exploring a Taiwanese Buddhist Model for Global Humanitarian Action
Speaker: Prof. Stefania Travagnin, SOAS, University of London
Stefania Travagnin is a Reader in Chinese Buddhism at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. She also serves as member of the SOAS Centre of Taiwan Studies, and a committee member of the SOAS Centre of Buddhist Studies. She also serves as committee member of the UK Association of Buddhist Studies. Her research addresses religion (mostly Buddhist doctrine, institutions, and communities) in the twentieth and twenty-first century mainland China and Taiwan, and under the three main areas of (1) religion and Chinese society; (2) textual studies; (3) concepts and methods for the study of Chinese religions. |
