主 旨 【How to stabilize yourself when the aftershocks keep on coming】- Counseling Center cares for you
 內 容
Dear TCU Fellow :

With the recent aftershocks, we are all in a state of emotional instability.
After a major disaster, people often experience some physical and mental stress reactions, such as shock, anxiety, irritability, fatigue, changes in routine, etc. It is normal to have these reactions.

It is normal to experience these reactions, and they usually settle down or improve over a period of days or weeks.
In the meantime, there are a few things we can do to help ourselves and others to get back on track and return to peace and quiet.

At such a time, many people may find themselves feeling or reacting differently than usual:

KEEP SAFE→ Make sure you are safe and don't over-receive negative messages.

CONNECT FAMILY & FRIENDS→ Keep in touch with family, teachers and friends.

CALM DOWN → If you have a faith, seek the support of your faith, meditate and relax, listen to soothing music.

EMPOWER YOURSELF → Do things that make you feel comfortable and in control, such as exercise.

RELIVE HOPES→ Avoid beating yourself up, learn to look at things from different perspectives, try to care for others, and have hope for a peaceful day ahead.

If you observe that you or your classmates are still not in a good state, you are welcome to come to the Counseling Center and talk to the psychologist, so that the professional staff can have the opportunity to accompany you and find a peaceful mind together!

The Counseling Center cares for you
