 主  旨  Guideline for Post-Earthquake Recovery

1. [Construction and Maintenance Section]
Please follow the below steps before tidying up offices, laboratories and other indoor spaces:
[1] Check the environmental safety: Before entering the indoor space, please check the ceiling and lamps at the door to see if there is any risk of falling. If not, you can organize the indoor items by yourself.
[2] Damage levels are divided into three categories:
Level 1: Water and electricity pipeline problems, such as water leakage, electricity leakage or blocked telephone lines, please notify the maintenance section (ext. 1314) immediately, and the staff will handle it ASAP.
Level 2: Wall cracks, peeling, broken window glass, etc.
Level 3: Other types of earthquake damage.
[3] Notify for maintenance: Please take photos of the current damage situation and fill out the form online according to the announcement on the Wednesday, April 3rd. The maintenance section will assist with repairs ASAP.

2. [Property Management Section]
Reminder: Please do not discard damaged property directly, leave it in the original area
[1] For property with a property label, please first confirm whether the function is normal. If it cannot be used, please fill out a property reduction form online. Small equipment will be dealt with by each unit one after another according to the loss reduction order. For large items, please notify the section staff (ext.1321) for consultation and assistance.
[2] If your damaged property has no property label, you can handle it yourself.

3. [General Services Section]
Announcement: Principles for Disposal of Damaged Waste without Property Label
[1] To avoid environmental pollution, random discarding of waste is prohibited at any recycling sites.
[2] It is strictly prohibited to discard damaged items and garbage brought from dormitories and off-campus accommodation.
[3] Waste recycling time: April 8th (Monday) and 9th (Tuesday) from 8 am to 4 pm (pause from 12 noon to 13:30).
[4] Garbage trucks will be under control on April 8th and 9th. The section staff will break the bags and inspect them. Only general waste can be thrown into the garbage trucks.
[5] The temporary recycling venue for damaged items without property labels are as follows:
a. For Hejing, Qingeng, Futian Building, and Daxi Sports Center, please go to the first floor of Xichuan Hall (B106 Outside the Performing Arts Hall).
b. For Dashe and Daai Building, please go to the square in front of Gate 5 on the south side of Daai Building.
c. At Jieren Campus, please go to the recycling site next to the gymnasium. Please follow the instructions of the staff on site for sorting and recycling.
[6] Non-biochemical and non-medical waste items in the laboratory can be recycled. Those with doubts must obtain confirmation from “Center for Environmental Protection and Occupational Health”.
[7] Please pack broken glass in cartons to avoid injury to staff.
