馬來西亞三大民族特色美食系列-椰漿飯Nasi Lemak

泰國有打拋飯、台灣有滷拌飯,馬來西亞當然也有等同這樣地位的國民美食─Nasi Lemak椰漿飯!

因為地緣及歷史關係,馬來西亞文化及與語言融合了馬來人、華人、印度人,尤其是在吃的部份,可以看到許多熟悉又陌生的食物,當然也有傳統馬來人愛吃的道地美食,尤其是名為Nasi Lemak椰漿飯,是大馬人喜愛美食之一,也是馬來西亞的國民早餐,可說是最能代表馬來西亞的料理。

Nasi Lemak是馬來語,Nasi是飯的意思,Lemak是椰漿。飯如其名,就是把米和椰漿等香料融合出絕佳美味。再搭配黃瓜、水煮蛋、Sambal、花生,香辣濃郁的滋味,讓人一早醒腦,就是在馬來西亞幾乎街頭巷尾都找得到的特色餐點!也有些餐廳把它盛在盤上當午餐或晚餐吃,無論哪種吃法都是一大美味。

1.泰國香米
2.350ml 椰漿
3.3片嫩薑
4.4片班蘭葉(把它們打结)
5.2杯大約500ml的水(煮飯)
6.1/2tsp鹽
7.擺盤-香蕉葉
8.小黃瓜片
9.花生粒
10.雞蛋
11.天貝
12.Sambal炒空心菜(馬來風光)

TCU International Food Festival ✈️11th STOP MALAYSIA

Nasi Lemak translates to rice fat (from coconut milk). It’s a common Southeast Asian street food and a national breakfast in Malaysia and you haven’t visited Malaysia without trying a version of nasi lemak. It's even one of the must-have airplane food menu for Malaysian airlines. This dish is popular and can be found everywhere from the morning markets, food stalls, streetfood to hotels.

The meanings for Nasi Lemak 'Nasi' means rice, Lemak means fat, and here it refers to coconut milk. It is named after the rice is soaked in coconut milk and then cooked into rice. The knotted pandan leaves are cooked together in a pot, spices such as ginger and lemongrass can also be added to increase the aroma of nasi lemak.

Malaysia is multi-ethnic and multi-cultural has three main ethnic communities: Chinese, Indians and Malays. In this episode, we will makes one favourite Malaysian National dish: Nasi Lemak! It will bring you down memory lane as soon as you unwrap the banana leaf pack.

Looking for a Nasi Lemak recipe that is easy and yet delicious? This is gonna be your go-to recipe of all time!
1.Thai fragrant rice
2.Coconut milk
3.3 slices of young ginger
4.4 leaves of pandan (screwpine) leaves, tied into a knot
5.2 cuns of water to cook rice (about 500ml)
6.1/2 tsp salt
7.Serving-Banana Leaf
8.Cucumber (sliced)
9.Peanut
10.Egg
11.Tempe
12.Sambal sauce with Water spinach
