Thank you for your interest in TCU’s 2020 Commencement ceremony. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Central Epidemic Control Center has set up guidelines, including the banning of large gatherings.
We will keep trying to hold an in-person, on-campus Commencement celebration on June 6. If the COVID-19 has worsened, we plan to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of our graduating students in other ways.
We would like to ask for your help on the following:
1.From May 23 to June 6, if you have any physical discomfort, or have been in contact with anyone, who was infected with COVID-19 or during your at-home quarantine/isolation period, you aren’t allowed to attend the ceremony.
2.Keep a 1.0 meter social distance from others.
3.You are not allowed to enter the campus without wearing a mask, and you will be required to wear your mask during the entire ceremony.
4.You aren’t allowed to eat or drink during the ceremony.
5.If the epidemic situation has improved greatly, the University will allow only one family member per graduate to attend the ceremony. The University will broadcast live, and students’ other family members can watch the ceremony online.
6.If you want to know more details, please access https://www.tcu.edu.tw/.
If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Hsu: (03)856-5301 ext. 1204
Best regards,
Tzu Chi University Commencement Committee
