一、財團法人台灣觀光協會(下稱本會)自1956年成立至今70年，為台灣最具規模、歷史最悠久的觀光推廣單位。歷年赴全世界推廣台灣觀光，吸引國際旅客來台旅遊，並主辦台灣美食展及ITF台灣國際旅展，將台灣的文化、美食、觀光傳遞到全球各角落。
二、為鼓勵學生提出有助於觀光發展之創新研究及發掘台灣景點，設立「觀光研究獎學金」及「不可錯過的台灣之旅短片獎學金」。去年首屆開辦成效良好，徵得42件研究論文、超過200件短片作品參賽。參賽者包含本土學子，更有來自緬甸、印尼、越南等地外籍生，以異國視角注入國際元素，證明台灣的美具備跨越國界的力量。研究主題則涵蓋淡季活化策略、遊戲設計APP、觀光永續議題等，為台灣觀光產業注入年輕活力。本(2026)年度獎學金規劃如下：
(一)研究獎學金：總獎金達41萬元，大學以上學生對於觀光發展相關之研究均可提出申請，簡章如附件1。
(二)不可錯過的台灣之旅短片獎學金：總獎金達13萬元，高中職以上學生用60-90秒IG REELS，即可報名參加，簡章如附件2。
**Announcement: Call for Applications for the Taiwan Tourism Association Scholarship Program**
The Taiwan Tourism Association (hereinafter referred to as "the Association"), established in 1956, has been promoting Taiwan's tourism for 70 years. As the largest and longest-standing organization in this field, the Association has been actively promoting Taiwan's tourism worldwide, attracting international visitors, and organizing events such as the Taiwan Food Festival and the Taiwan International Travel Fair (ITF). Through these efforts, the Association has successfully shared Taiwan's culture, cuisine, and tourism with the global community.
To encourage students to conduct innovative research that contributes to the development of Taiwan's tourism industry and to discover Taiwan's scenic spots, the Association has established two scholarship programs: the Tourism Research Scholarship and the "Unmissable Taiwan Journey" Short Film Scholarship. The inaugural year of these scholarships was highly successful, with 42 research papers and over 200 short film entries submitted. Participants included both local students and international students from countries such as Myanmar, Indonesia, and Vietnam, who brought diverse perspectives and international elements to the competition. This demonstrates the universal appeal of Taiwan's beauty. The research topics covered strategies for revitalizing the off-season, the design of tourism-related apps, and sustainable tourism issues, injecting youthful energy into Taiwan's tourism industry.
For the 2026 academic year, the scholarship program is structured as follows:
1. **Tourism Research Scholarship**: The total prize money amounts to NT$410,000. University-level students who conduct research related to tourism development are eligible to apply. The application guidelines are provided in Attachment 1.
2. **"Unmissable Taiwan Journey" Short Film Scholarship**: The total prize money amounts to NT$130,000. High school and above students can participate by submitting a 60-90 second IG REELS video. The application guidelines are provided in Attachment 2.
