為紀念余德慧教授對臺灣宗教研究、生命關懷與人文實踐所作的重要貢獻，慈濟大學宗教與人文研究所辦理「余德慧教授紀念講座」，延續余教授長期關注的生命經驗、身體感、人文關懷與生存美學，邀請不同領域的實踐者，從信仰、身體、藝術與安寧療護等面向，探索宗教與人文如何回應真實的生命經驗。
本次紀念講座規劃兩場專題演講，分別從「身體中的信仰實踐」及「藝術中的生命關懷」切入，呈現宗教、人文、藝術與生命療癒之間的跨領域對話。
第一場由徒步媽祖進香與舞蹈治療的身體實踐出發，關注身體、信仰與空間之間的互動；第二場則從安寧療護與藝術創作出發，思考生命末期的陪伴、療癒與「生存美學」。兩場講座共同回應余德慧教授對「活著」的深刻關懷，延續其以人為核心、從生命經驗出發的人文研究精神。
第一場｜09/22（二）信仰與身體：徒步媽祖進香與舞蹈治療的身體人文空間實踐

從徒步媽祖進香與舞蹈治療的身體經驗出發，探討行走、移動、節奏與空間如何成為信仰實踐與生命經驗的媒介，重新思考「身體」在人與宗教、群體及空間之間所扮演的角色。

第二場｜09/30（三）安寧療護生存美學

從安寧療護的臨床實踐出發，探討藝術、人文與生命照顧的可能性，思考人在面對疾病、失落與生命終點時，如何透過創作與陪伴，重新理解生命的價值與存在的意義。

To commemorate Professor Yu De-Hui is significant contributions to religious studies, life care, and the humanities in Taiwan, the Graduate Institute of Religion and Humanities at Tzu Chi University presents the Yu De-Hui Memorial Lecture Series.
Continuing Professor Yu is longstanding concern with lived experience, embodiment, humanistic care, and the aesthetics of living, the series brings together perspectives from religion, the body, art, and hospice care to explore how the humanities and religious practices respond to real-life experiences.
The first lecture examines embodied religious experience through Mazu pilgrimage and dance therapy, while the second explores the “aesthetics of living” through hospice care and artistic creation. Together, the two lectures continue Professor Yu is profound concern for human life and create new possibilities for dialogue between his ideas and contemporary practices.
The series features two lectures, focusing respectively on embodied religious practice and artistic approaches to life care, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue among religion, the humanities, art, medicine, and healing.

Faith and the Body: Embodied Humanistic Practices in Mazu Pilgrimage and Dance Therapy

This lecture explores the relationship among the body, faith, and space through Mazu pilgrimage and dance therapy. It examines how walking, movement, rhythm, and spatial experience become important forms of religious and humanistic practice.

The Aesthetics of Living in Hospice Care

Speaker: Dr. Hsu Li-An
“When hospice care is combined with artistic creation, we can call it the aesthetics of living. This will be a trend for the future.”
Drawing on his experience in hospice care, Dr. Hsu explores the possibilities of integrating art, humanities, and life care. The lecture invites reflection on how creativity and compassionate accompaniment can help us understand illness, loss, dying, and the meaning of life.
