一、針對花東地區弱勢學生運動員予以補助，期望透過輔助資源的挹注，為弱勢學生運動員提供更有利的發展機會。
二、甄選對象：花蓮、臺東地區就讀國小、國中、高中職、大專校院或研究所之在學學生，且為學校運動代表隊之成員者皆可申請，另具中低與低收入戶資格者優先補助。
三、補助項目：日常訓練所需、傷後就醫與復健支持等。
四、審查方式：採隨到隨審，由國立東華大學體育與運動科學系受理與審查，全年度皆可申請，至年度預算用罄為止。

**Announcement: Assistance Program for Disadvantaged Student-Athletes in Hualien and Taitung**
The Buddhist Tzu Chi University is pleased to announce a special assistance program aimed at supporting disadvantaged student-athletes in the Hualien and Taitung regions. This initiative seeks to provide these students with enhanced opportunities for development by allocating additional resources to assist them in their athletic pursuits.
**Eligibility Criteria:**
The program is open to all students currently enrolled in elementary schools, junior high schools, senior high schools, vocational schools, colleges, universities, or graduate institutes located in Hualien and Taitung. Applicants must be members of their respective school is sports teams. Priority will be given to those who qualify as students from medium-low or low-income households.
**Assistance Provided:**
The assistance covers various aspects, including the costs associated with daily training and support for medical treatment and rehabilitation following injuries.
**Review Process:**
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The Department of Physical Education and Sports Science at National Dong Hwa University will be responsible for receiving and evaluating all applications. The program is available throughout the year, subject to the availability of the annual budget.
