一、為支援科技政策規劃及研究工作，本院科技政策研究與資訊中心建置「政策研究指標資料庫」，簡稱PRIDE資料庫(https://pride.stpi.niar.org.tw/) ， 資料涵蓋社會、經濟、科技等領域的指標資料，並提供指標資料查詢、下載、立即線上繪製統計圖表等功能。
二、今為鼓勵青年學子利用數據建立資料處理與邏輯分析之能力，進而透過PRIDE資料庫豐富的各國指標資料，了解國際現況並開拓國際視野，以及藉由專題研究及小論文寫作的概念，鼓勵學生自主學習，提升學生的思辨能力，特舉辦此競賽活動。
三、今年為「Win the PRIDE：用指標說故事」競賽第十一年，依據高中組、大學組和研究所組分組競賽，設立獎項及高額獎金，並舉辦現場成果競賽發表會暨頒獎典禮，敬請轉知貴校學生踴躍報名參加本競賽活動，以獲取獎項及文稿公開之榮耀。
四、報名日期為115年10月15日(四) 至115年10月21日(三) 止。

**Announcement**
**I. Database Establishment**
To support the planning and research of science and technology policies, the Center for Science and Technology Policy Research and Information at this institute has established the "Policy Research Indicators Database," abbreviated as PRIDE Database (https://pride.stpi.niar.org.tw/). The database contains indicators related to social, economic, and technological fields, and provides functionalities for querying, downloading, and instantly generating statistical charts online.
**II. Purpose of the Competition**
To encourage young students to utilize data to develop data processing and logical analysis skills, and to understand international situations and broaden their global perspectives through the extensive indicators available in the PRIDE Database, this competition is organized. By incorporating the concepts of thematic research and essay writing, the competition aims to promote self-directed learning and enhance students' critical thinking abilities.
**III. Competition Overview**
This year marks the eleventh edition of the "Win the PRIDE: Telling Stories with Indicators" competition. The competition is divided into three categories: high school, undergraduate, and graduate levels. Awards and generous prizes are provided, and a live results presentation and award ceremony will be held. We kindly request you to inform your students about this competition and encourage them to participate actively to win awards and gain recognition for their work.

The registration period for the competition is from October 15, 2026 (Sunday) to October 21, 2026 (Saturday).
