**Announcement Regarding the Application for the 115 Academic Year "Assistance Grant for Disadvantaged Students in Higher Education Institutions"**

Students wishing to apply for the "Assistance Grant for Disadvantaged Students in Higher Education Institutions" (for those with an annual income below NT$700,000 to NT$900,000) must complete the following procedures by September 30, 115:

1. Log in to the Tzu Chi University Student Information System, navigate to Overview > Student Affairs Office > Scholarship and Grant Application, and fill out the online application form for the "Assistance Grant for Disadvantaged Students in Higher Education Institutions."
2. Print the consent form and submit it along with a new-style household registration book or a household registration extract issued within the past three months, which must include detailed records. Write your department, grade, student ID, and name on the front of the document and submit it to the Student Affairs Group of the Student Affairs Office.

*Both the online application (https://admin.tcu.edu.tw/TCUstweb/stlogin.php) and the physical documents must be submitted; neither can be omitted.*

*The new-style household registration book or the household registration extract issued within the past three months must include the following members:*

1. *For unmarried students:*
- *A. Minors: Combined with their parents or legal guardians.*
- *B. Adults: Combined with their parents or legal guardians from their minor years.*

2. *For married students: Combined with their spouse.*

3. *For divorced students or those whose spouse has passed away: Their own total income.*

4. *For unmarried students whose parents are divorced, abandoned, or in other special circumstances, where combining their income with their parents or legal guardians would be unfair, they may provide clear reasons and relevant supporting documents. After review and approval by the university, the parents or legal guardians will not be included in the income calculation.*

*If the household registration extract does not specify guardianship for divorced parents, both parties' income will be considered. If there is no actual custody situation, supporting evidence must be provided.*

The assistance grant for disadvantaged students will be applied to reduce the tuition and miscellaneous fees for the second semester. Students are still required to pay the full amount for the first semester. Those who need to apply for student loans should pay particular attention to this matter.
