I. This event is organized in accordance with the "2026 Indigenous Knowledge Research Center Project," as approved by the Council of Indigenous Peoples via official letter No. 1150018300 dated April 24, 2026, and the "2026 Youth Forum" project of the Xiulin Township Office, Hualien County.

II. Since its establishment in 2024 with subsidies from the Council of Indigenous Peoples, the Truku Knowledge Research Center (hereinafter referred to as "the Center") has consistently focused on the Truku people as its primary subject. The Center promotes the collection, organization, research, educational transformation, and practical application of indigenous knowledge. Through collaboration with tribal communities, educational institutions, and relevant organizations, the Center strives to deepen the construction of the Truku knowledge system.

III. This year's forum is jointly promoted by the Center, the Xiulin Township Office, the Xiulin Township Youth Development Committee, and local partners. Under the theme "qpahi ta ! mseupu ta smquri smmalu knkla Truku | Let's Co-create Truku Knowledge!", the event integrates a knowledge forum with youth social practice. By facilitating intergenerational and interdisciplinary exchange and dialogue, the forum aims to promote the construction, inheritance, transformation, and local implementation of Truku indigenous knowledge.

IV. The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 31, and Sunday, November 1, 2026. The primary venue will be the Audio-Visual Conference Room on the 4th floor of the Administration Building at the National Hualien Senior Agricultural and Vocational High School. The forum consists of six major thematic sessions covering topics such as "Language Revitalization and Literary Creation," "Dialogue Between Local Knowledge and Science," "Hunting Culture and Resource Co-management," "Gender in Craftsmanship and Cultural Inheritance," "Learning and Support for Truku Children and Youth," and "Tribal Care and Cultural Revitalization." Additionally, the afternoon of the second day features a practical exchange session titled "Tribal Walking Tours and the Daily Life of Cultural Health Stations," guiding participants from forum dialogues into the actual sites of tribal life, land, and community. Detailed information is provided in the attached agenda.

V. During the event, peripheral activities such as the "Public Indigenous Education Interactive Exhibition" and "Indigenous Plant Application and Craft Experience" will be held. Through exhibitions, interactions, and hands-on activities, these sessions will guide participants to understand Truku indigenous knowledge and its contemporary applications and practices from various perspectives.
