一、美國高等教育認可審議會（Council for Higher Education Accreditation, CHEA）係由美國高等教育界共同發起成立之獨立非營利組織，在美國高等教育品質保證體系中，主要負責對高等教育認證機構進行認可。自2024年起，CHEA開放國際高等教育認證機構申請認可，並依循與美國國內相同之嚴謹標準及程序進行審查。
二、本會華文商管教育認證組織（Accreditation Council for Chinese Business Education, ACCBE）自101年起辦理華文商管學院認證（Accreditation of Chinese Collegiate School of Business, ACCSB），並獲教育部認可為專業評鑑機構。ACCBE自111年起與CHEA接洽，歷經多階段審查，於本（115）年9月獲正式通知，核予為期7年、無保留條件之最高認可，為CHEA開放國際申請以來，亞太地區第一個獲得認可之認證組織。
三、此次認可對臺灣管理教育之意義如下： （一）商管教育品保與國際體系接軌：ACCBE之認證標準、程序與運作治理經CHEA依其標準審查通過，使臺灣自主發展之商管專業認證機制正式納入國際高等教育品質保證體系，亦顯示教育品質與國際化得以相輔相成。 （二）權責相稱的實質品保獲國際肯定：ACCSB認證深入至具有學位授予權之系所及學位學程，逐一檢視其中各學制人才培育目標、課程、師資與學習成效之扣合，並以「先輔導、再認證、持續追蹤」之機制陪伴學校持續改善，此一設計獲CHEA審查委員高度肯定。 （三）為通過認證學校提供國際可辨識之品質訊號：通過ACCSB認證之商管學院、系所及學位學程，其認證狀態可直接於CHEA官網上查獲，有助於學校在國際招生、姊妹校合作、雙聯學位及師生交流時取得夥伴信任。
四、獲CHEA認可後，ACCSB認證進入新的發展階段，本會稱之為「ACCSB 2.0」。為協助各校瞭解此一發展及其對商管教育品質保證之影響，本會特辦理說明會，相關資訊如下： （一）活動名稱：ACCSB 2.0認證線上說明會 （二）時間：115年11月13日（星期五）12時30分至13時（三）方式：Google線上視訊會議，會議連結將於會前寄送予完成報名者 （四）參加對象：各大學校院校長、教務長、商管學院院長及相關系所主管 （五）說明重點： 1.ACCSB認證之特色與對各校商管教育品質之助益。2.ACCSB認證準備重點，包括認證理念與標準架構、申請流程與時程，以及自評報告準備要點。 （六）費用：免費 （七）報名方式：請於115年11月9日（星期一）前至報名網址（https:／／reurl.cc/eQA4jx）完成報名。

I. The Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) is an independent, non-profit organization established by the American higher education community. Within the U.S. higher education quality assurance system, CHEA is primarily responsible for the accreditation of higher education accrediting organizations. Since 2024, CHEA has opened its accreditation process to international higher education accrediting organizations, conducting reviews in accordance with the same rigorous standards and procedures applied domestically in the United States.
II. The Accreditation Council for Chinese Business Education (ACCBE) has been conducting the Accreditation of Chinese Collegiate School of Business (ACCSB) since 2012 and has been recognized by the Ministry of Education as a professional evaluation agency. Since 2022, ACCBE has been in communication with CHEA. Following multiple stages of review, ACCBE was officially notified in September 2026 that it has been granted the highest level of accreditation for a period of seven years without reservations. This marks the first accrediting organization in the Asia-Pacific region to receive accreditation since CHEA opened applications to international organizations.
III. The significance of this accreditation for management education in Taiwan is as follows:
(1) Alignment of management education quality assurance with international systems: The accreditation standards, procedures, and operational governance of ACCBE have been reviewed and approved by CHEA. This formally integrates Taiwan's independently developed professional accreditation mechanism for management education into the international higher education quality assurance system, demonstrating that educational quality and internationalization can be mutually reinforcing.
(2) International recognition of substantive quality assurance with appropriate accountability: ACCSB accreditation extends to departments and degree programs with degree-granting authority, examining the alignment of talent cultivation goals, curricula, faculty, and learning outcomes for each academic system. Furthermore, the mechanism of "guidance first, accreditation second, and continuous tracking" supports schools in their ongoing improvement. This design has received high praise from the CHEA review committee.
(3) Provision of internationally recognizable quality signals for accredited institutions: The accreditation status of business schools, departments, and degree programs that have passed ACCSB accreditation can be directly verified on the official CHEA website. This assists institutions in gaining the trust of partners during international recruitment, sister-school collaborations, dual-degree programs, and faculty and student exchanges.
IV. Following the CHEA accreditation, ACCSB accreditation has entered a new developmental phase, referred to by the Council as "ACCSB 2.0." To assist universities in understanding this development and its impact on the quality assurance of management education, the Council is organizing an information session as follows:
(1) Event Name: ACCSB 2.0 Accreditation Online Information Session
(2) Time: Friday, November 13, 2026, from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM
(3) Format: Google Meet online video conference. The meeting link will be sent to registered participants prior to the session.
(4) Target Audience: Presidents, Provosts, Deans of Business Schools, and heads of relevant departments of universities and colleges.
(5) Key Topics:
1. The characteristics of ACCSB accreditation and its benefits for the quality of management education in universities.
2. Key preparation points for ACCSB accreditation, including accreditation philosophy and standard frameworks, application processes and timelines, and key points for preparing self-evaluation reports.
