邀請蕭美琴副總統蒞校演講，透過其多元文化成長背景、海外求學歷程，以及長期投入國際事務與公共服務的豐富經驗，引導學生體認國際觀的培養不僅來自語言能力與專業知識，更來自主動探索、尊重多元文化、理解不同立場及與人建立連結的能力。期望啟發學生勇於拓展國際視野、培養國際移動力與跨文化溝通能力，並以同理心理解不同文化背景與生命經驗，進而建立全球公民意識，將個人成長與專業所學連結國際發展及社會關懷，成為具備國際視野、人文素養與社會責任感的青年人才。

We are honored to invite Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim to Tzu Chi University to share her experiences and insights. Drawing on her multicultural upbringing, overseas education, and extensive experience in international affairs and public service, Vice President Hsiao will inspire students to understand that developing a global perspective involves more than language proficiency and professional knowledge. It also requires curiosity, respect for cultural diversity, an understanding of different perspectives, and the ability to build meaningful connections with others.
This lecture aims to encourage students to broaden their international horizons, strengthen their global mobility and intercultural communication skills, and develop empathy by understanding people from diverse cultural backgrounds and life experiences. Through this opportunity, students are encouraged to cultivate global citizenship, connect their personal growth and professional knowledge with international development and social engagement, and become future talents equipped with a global perspective, humanistic values, and a strong sense of social responsibility.
